By all that’s holy, do not allow Keanu Reeves to play Spike. Reeves isn’t the wrong choice for every role, but he certainly would be for Spike.

It ought to go to someone who’s at least as good at being goofy as he is at existentially blowing people away. In many ways, Zachary Levi would be a good choice.

Too many questions on this quiz have to do with things you shouldn’t do while driving. Why too many? Because I don’t drive, don’t know how to drive, and yet, answering as accurately as possible within the confines of the multiple choices offered, I scored pretty well.

That’s some bad survey design, there.

In order to get the sort of information they were asking for, they should have asked more questions based on (a) important driving knowledge, (b) more situational questions, and (c) ideally, some questions with images or videos that check to see whether you’re aware of what you’re supposed to be

I’m personally opposed to the display of religious stuff on government property, because I take the separation of church and state seriously. I always have; when I was a kid, it didn’t take me very long to figure out just how wickedly unconstitutional the “under god” part of the pledge of allegiance is. (Hilarity ensued.)

However, this is just douchey:

An atheist group placed this sign beside a Nativity scene at an Olympia, Washington government building, and some people aren’t pleased. The Freedom From Religion Foundation previously posted a sign in Madison, Wisconsin that protestors have reportedly turned around so it can’t be read and thrown acid on it. From CNN:

“Religion is but myth and superstition that hardens hearts and enslaves minds,” the sign says in part.

Now, if you’re an athiest, or even just someone who believes that the government shouldn’t endorse a given religious viewpoint, it’s perfectly rational to, say, sue the government to demand that a nativity scene be removed.

This, however, is just stupid and mean. The plaque isn’t celebrating anything; it’s just mean.

Also, solstice isn’t a fucking atheist holiday, it’s a fucking pagan holiday. So unless these guys are going to paint themselves with woad and go drown somebody in a fucking bog (or insert your favorite pagan stereotype), they should shut the fuck up.

Okay, all I know about this game is a trailer seen during an episode of the 1UP show many months ago, but the homoerotic undertones, overtones, intratones, and metatones were absolutely splattered all over that thing. The game should be called, “Don’t ask, don’t tell, it’s understood.”
