USB teddy bear holds data, scares children - Engadget

Oh, slick. You could have even more fun with a DIY toy more intrinsically interesting than a bear; for example, a knit zombie. (I still don’t get why it’s “Dawn of the Knitted Dead” rather than “Knit of the Living Dead.”)

MAKE: Blog: Homemade hovercraft

I want a “ceiling robot made from styrofoam meat package.”

However, the wall/ceiling version would be way cooler if it could transition between wall and ceiling and floor. For that, I think you would need to take two hovercrafts (or possibly three) and join them at right angles. Then all you need to do is add lasers, and you’re well on your way to a kickass home defense system.

Of course, that assumes your walls are at right angles, which is often but not always the case. I suppose a hinge could take care of this, however, leaving curved surfaces as the only possibly difficulty.
